Quality Basics Manual Data Setup

If you’ve opted to not perform a migration to set up Veeva Quality Basics, this page provides the information you need in order to prepare your sandbox and production Vaults for go-live.
Note
Perform the below setup steps in Sandbox, then move on to Production using the same steps when you’re comfortable.
Set Up Reference Data
Set up your departments, suppliers, etc. that you will need to reference within your Vault. Some data, like batches, may be created on an as-needed basis and does not need to be in place for Business Go-Live. Review the Reference Data overview to learn more about creating reference data.
Upload Documents
Follow Import Preapproved Legacy Content to upload documents that have already been approved outside of Vault.
Set Up Training Matrix
Review the Training Matrix overview, and the subsequent sections, to learn more about setting up your training matrix. If you do not currently have a matrix to leverage as a starting point, Veeva recommends grouping your training by department.
