Cancel or Reassign a Task or Workflow

At some point, you may want to either cancel or reassign a task or a workflow, for example, in the event that it is no longer needed or a mistake has been made.

Cancel a Task

  1. Within the document that is involved in the task, click the workflow name to open the task and workflow details.

  2. Click the ellipsis () on the task to open the Actions menu.

  3. Select cancel task.

  4. In the confirmation popup, click continue to cancel the task.

Cancel a Workflow

  1. Within the document that is involved in the workflow, click the workflow name to open the task and workflow details.

  2. Click the ellipsis () on the workflow to open the Actions menu.

  3. Select cancel task.

  4. In the confirmation popup, click continue to cancel the workflow.

Reassign a Task

  1. Within the document that is involved in the task, click the workflow name to open the task and workflow details.

  2. Click the ellipsis () on the task to open the Actions menu.

  3. Select reassign task.

  4. In the popup, select a user to assign the task to.

  5. Click continue to reassign the task.

Reassign a Workflow

  1. Within the document that is involved in the task, click the workflow name to open the task and workflow details.

  2. Click the ellipsis () on the task to open the Actions menu.

  3. Select replace workflow owner.

  4. In the popup, select a user to assign as the workflow owner.

  5. Click continue to reassign the workflow.
