One Audit Trail File Per Document
If you are able to export audit trails from your legacy system on a per-document basis, Veeva will migrate each audit trail as an attachment to its corresponding document. Add the audit trail file path for each document in the migration template.

Audit Trails for All Documents in One File
If your legacy system does not support per-document audit trail export, or if you prefer not to attach audit trails to individual documents during migration, create a single document in your Quality Vault to store your audit trail.
Do not attach a full system audit trail (which contains audit history across all documents) to individual documents in the migration template.
Veeva recommends using a Document Type of Executed Record with Category set to Quality.
