Add to Training Matrix

Training Requirements and Curricula are in the Initiated state when they are first created or added to your Vault.

If you want the Veeva Basics role-based eLearning to be part of the assignments that go out to your learners, you must set them up in your training matrix.

To do this:

  1. Follow our Training Matrix Recommendations and create the necessary Curricula.

Note Curricula for Veeva Quality Basics should already be created for you in your Vault.
  2. Open each Curriculum and add the Learner Roles you want to take the training.

  3. Make the Training Requirements, Curricula, and Learner Roles Ready for Use.

Best Practice While actively working on updates to the training matrix, leave Learner Role, Curricula, and Training Requirement records in an Initiated state until updates are complete so that training is not sent to learners before it is fully ready.
Note Training is evaluated on an hourly basis, at the half-hour mark. Associated Learner Roles, Curricula, and Training Requirements must be in Ready for Use state in order for training to be sent out or cancelled.

Training Updates

The Veeva Basics Training Team evaluates the changes in each Veeva Basics release and determines if any new role-based eLearning courses and curricula are needed, as well as if updates are needed to existing courses and curricula. Our Training Matrix Recommendations are kept up-to-date.

If any updates are needed, they will be pushed to your Veeva Quality Basics Vault automatically. This typically occurs 2 weeks prior to the release date. Check the Release Center to learn more about Veeva Basics releases.
